Step 1: Pull up on the shifter bezel. There are several clips that hold it in place. It will still be attached to the shifter if you have a manual shift, so you’ll need to remove the shifter handle by removing the two 13mm bolts on the shifter. Step 2: Remove the upper center console half. This also just pulls up. There is a harness attached to the lighter outlet, so you will have to disconnect it. If you can see and gain access to the wires that lead to the DSS sensor, you do not need to unbolt the center console as outlined in steps 3 and 4
