For 2008, the new Accord Coupe dramatically breaks from the Accord Sedan with 100% unique sheet metal, glass and exterior lighting that creates a rakish and aggressive appearance. From its recessed grille, projector-beam halogen headlights and flared wheel arches to its 18-inch wheels – a first for Accord and the biggest ever for a Honda automobile – the Accord Coupe V-6 pushes Accord to new levels of excitement. 2008 Honda Accord Sedan Design Concept To stand out among expressive midsize competitors such as the Nissan Altima and Volkswagen Passat, styling for the new Accord had to be more expressive and dynamic. “Verified” vs. “unverified” roads: Verified roads are the more popular roads in a city and unverified roads are typically the rural/residential-type roads. The system does not store detailed routing information about unverified roads (only the general physical layout of them is provided). Because the average speed of unverified (lightly-colored) roads is not programmed into the system, the time and distance “to go” for these roads is based on an average speed of 25 mph. • In most cases you can enter a selection into the system by using any of the following methods: o Voice command o Highlighting the item and pushing in on the joystick (ENT button) o Touching the item on the screen (LCD can be cleaned with any window cleaner) • The components of the voice control system are: o TALK button on the steering wheel (press it when you want to give a voice command – wait for the beep before saying the command) o BACK button on the steering wheel (used to cancel a command or go back to a previous screen) o Microphone between the two map lights on the ceiling
