Cars sold in Australia receive an ADR (Australian Design Rules) combined fuel efficiency figure. However, Honda also carries out local tests on our vehicle range to establish a database of fuel consumption figures for New Zealand conditions. In order to produce results that relate to typical driving conditions, we specified that the cars be driven at the appropriate speed limit wherever safe and practicable, including regular overtaking of slower vehicles. download These instructions have been compiled from the fitting of a standard capacity Scottoiler™ automatic chain lubricator, Mark 7 Kit, to a ’99 Honda CBR1100 XX FI Super Blackbird (UK specification). Additional information and guidance has been included both from feedback obtained from other owners and from ScottOiler™ themselves who have sanctioned Issue 2.0 with observations that have been presented in section 4.0. For full details of changes at this issue, refer to section 5.0. The advantage, with the latest range of Scottoiler™ kits, is the ability to mount the oil reservoir in either a vertical or horizontal orientation. In these instructions, the reservoir has been installed horizontally, under the seat unit, and hence has easy access for re-filling and adjustment.

download The Honda adapters attach to UAS stands in two ways dependent upon anchoring tube used. Figure 1 shows attachment to the ears of a UAS clamp bar tube. Figure 2 shows attachment to the vertical surface of a UMS adapter tube. Figure 3 shows attachment to the vertical surface of a UMS pinchweld stand. Each illustration shows the Honda adapter in its lowest mounted position. IMPORTANT: Information on use of anchor- ing stands (including their attachment to repair system mainframes) appears in the UAS Users Manual and UMS Pinchweld Stand Users Manual.
